After weeks of rain, yucky weather, and busy busy schedules
Andrew and I decided that we would go to Myrtle Beach for the holiday
weekend. We left school and got right on
95 Friday afternoon. Around 11:15 when
we were still over 2 hours out we decided that we would spend the night in
Lumberton instead of rolling into Grandma and Grandpa’s at 1:30 in the
morning. We stopped spent the night
around midnight and got back on the road in the morning. We got to Grandma’s around 10:30 Saturday
morning and they were completely shocked!! Elisha asked within 10 minutes of
being there if he could go to the playground! We spend the day at the
playground, taking naps, and hanging out with some friends. Then Sunday we did church, went and met Uncle
Mark and Aunt Ashley for lunch, went shopping, played at the pool, and ended
the day with ice cream at DQ. It was a
crazy quick trip but it was great to see them and get away for a quick
trip.
