On our adventures home from Myrtle Beach we were driving up
Route 3, going through Crofton and all of the sudden we see it …. The red,
green, and white lights …. That say “now serving hot” …. I think Andrew and I
saw them simultaneously because we both looked at each other and said “Is that
Krispy Kreme? That says “hot now”? and Andrew quickly pulled left, we did a
U-turn and then went back. I have not
been to a Krispy Kreme store since middle school and nothing …. seriously, nothing .... beats a hot Krispy Kreme donut!
We walked in a watched them go through the conveyer belt for
a minute, Elisha thought this was very cool.
Then we got donuts, Elisha was not sure about the donuts being hot, but
he enjoyed wearing the Krispy Kreme hat.
(He also loved his “regular” donut the next morning.) Andrew and I on
the other hand each downed 2 donuts each because they seriously are the most amazing
treat! It all brought back a flood of childhood memories! Crofton is now on the map in my book!
