A Day with Nana

For his birthday Nana got Elisha, Thomas the Tank Engine tickets to ride on Thomas at the B&O Railway Museum.  He watched Thomas and talked about riding on Thomas for weeks leading up to the adventure.  They had a great day! He got special Nana time and he got to ride on Thomas.

Thank you NANA!!

Happy Birthday, Buddy!

I’m not really sure how this happened, my boy is 2, and seriously I don’t know how that happened.  He is so full of life and is learning things so so quickly.

Elisha Andrew is 2 years old:

Favorite Television Show: Bubble Guppies
Favorite Food: Chicken Nuggets and Hot Dogs
Favorite Snack: Pouch
Favorite Toys: ball, Little People, going outside, and big trains

He knows many of his main colors, he counts up into the teen numbers but he tends to forget the number 9.  He tells you his name, gives fist bumps, and daycare is his favorite place to go!  He asks every day, “I go to Ms. Beth’s house?”

Andrew and I could not be more blessed to have an amazing son who loves God, loves people, and is full of life! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for him.

Thomas Tickets!

Tractors!

He was all about opening the presents! This tractor is remote controlled and he LOVES it!  Thanks Poppy and Nonni.

Homemade Elmo Cake

It's crazy how much 1 year changes things, he was all about the cake this year!

Krispy Kreme Donuts

On our adventures home from Myrtle Beach we were driving up Route 3, going through Crofton and all of the sudden we see it …. The red, green, and white lights …. That say “now serving hot” …. I think Andrew and I saw them simultaneously because we both looked at each other and said “Is that Krispy Kreme? That says “hot now”? and Andrew quickly pulled left, we did a U-turn and then went back.  I have not been to a Krispy Kreme store since middle school and nothing …. seriously, nothing .... beats a hot Krispy Kreme donut!

We walked in a watched them go through the conveyer belt for a minute, Elisha thought this was very cool.  Then we got donuts, Elisha was not sure about the donuts being hot, but he enjoyed wearing the Krispy Kreme hat.  (He also loved his “regular” donut the next morning.) Andrew and I on the other hand each downed 2 donuts each because they seriously are the most amazing treat! It all brought back a flood of childhood memories!  Crofton is now on the map in my book!

The best lit sign ever!

Donuts on their way . . .

GLAZE :-)

DONUTS!

Not sure . . .

Cheers!

We are sure!

My very own Easter Egg Hunt

Grandma is the BEST! She bought 60 eggs and filled each with candies and “monies”.  Unfortunately, it was rainy outside so the egg hunt was moved inside but that worked out just fine!  I don’t know who taught him what an Easter Egg Hunt was but someone did.  As soon as he woke up from his nap he said, “I see eggs” and he ran around the entire house searching for eggs.  He had a blast!
Finding Eggs . . .

. . . EVERYWHERE!

Two full baskets!
Then Daddy and Elisha sat down to go through the eggs, Elisha figured out that the ones with “monies” sounded different so he started shaking the eggs to find the “monies”.  Again I don’t know where he learned that “monies” are important but he got that figured out and he loved opening each egg!
What's inside??

"Monies!"

All my loot!

Look at all of this!

Dying Easter Eggs

Grandpa got all the necessities for dying Easter eggs! Uncle Mark and Aunt Ashley set everything up and Elisha had blast.  He was all about plunking the eggs down in and by the end he was pro at using the “scoop” to get the eggs back out! See all of the fun in the pictures below!

Slow and steady

This is so FUN!!

Who needs that scoop?
I'll just stick my hand in the cup and get the egg.

Wahoo!
